繁殖是最基本的生命过程,维持或促进着地球上丰富多彩的生物多样性。高山植物的繁殖适应策略在其进化过程中扮演着重要的角色,其中交配系统的演化是最主要的内容。然而,有关高山植物繁殖适应性状的量化研究鲜有报道。 基于此,西双版纳热带植物园生物地理与生态学组胡正艳等人以横断山特有植物高蔊菜(Rorippa elata)为研究材料,通过野外同质园控制实验,以交配系统为核心,在居群水平对其繁殖适应策略进行了探讨。 主要的研究结果表明,高蔊菜的开放授粉结实率与纬度呈显著的负相关,而越冬存活率与纬度呈显著的正相关关系,即高蔊菜繁殖与存活之间存在沿纬度梯度的权衡。其次,高蔊菜具有混合交配系统,而且可将其细分为三种,分别是自交为主型(自交结实率与开放授粉结实率相当且显著高于异交结实率)、中间型(三种实验处理下的结实率无显著差异)和互补型(开放授粉结实率显著高于其他实验处理下的结实率),自交为主型占比最高(45.5%),其次为中间型(39.4%),最后为互补型(15.1%) 。最后,高蔊菜不同混合交配系统类型的株系具有不同程度的繁殖保障,其中自交为主型的株系繁殖保障平均程度最高(RA=0.163±0.016) 。 该研究结果以《不同纬度高蔊菜的交配系统和繁殖保障》为题在《生物多样性》第6期发表,并被选为封面不同纬度高蔊菜的交配系统和繁殖保障 。
